Blog post: Maslow's hierarchy of needs in Frankenstein

Hello! In this week's literature class, I and my group were necessary to discuss how Victor Frankenstein and his creation are satisfied/unsatisfied in the novel for your assigned hierarchical need. We were assigned to do Love and Belonging. Let's begin! Victor Frankenstein Quote: “Her countenance expressed affection even in death. I need not describe the feelings of those whose dearest ties are rent by that most irreparable evil, the void that presents itself to the soul and the despair that is exhibited on the countenance (Chapter 3, pg. 40) Paragraph: When Victor’s mother passed away, Victor feels a sense of loss of belonging and like a piece of him has been destroyed, as someone he loved passed away.
