Literature HL: Frankenstein Film Adaptation [Frankenweenie]

Hello guys! I'm here to share my ideas about "Frankenweenie" by analyzing the movie's portrayal of both Victor Frankenstein and his creation!
Keep in mind: As you're looking at the poster above, it can be inferred that the 'victim' in the movie will probably the "Sparky" the companion animal of the protagonist, Victor Frankenstein (the boy that is next to left side of the dog).

Summary: The tragedy starts as the Victor's pet Sparky dies by a car accident, which made the protagonist fell into high degree of depression. This results the protagonist to think about bringing Sparky back into the world from death. After few days, the protagonist dig up a grave that the sparky was buried in and somehow brings Sparky back to life, however, aftermath entails the appearance of sparky that the people be frightened of...

The key plot moments reveal the monstrous side of his creation: I think there are two scenes where Victor's creation are shown as monstrous creature.
Subjectively, Sparky's first monstrous side is shown when Sparky was revived by the protagonist's implausible experiment was succeeded which involves the concept of "galvanism' and Sparky's body parts that are easy to be detach / attach as the body is formed by clumsy sewing. We can see that the process that are taken to bring Sparky back to life is not appropriate since he broke through the line of demarcation between Life and Death, which Victor's parents said to Victor when they found out Sparky's alive.
The scenes scene that I think Victor's creation's devilish side depicted is:

The kid in the picture above finds out that Victor has revived his Sparky, which the kid is envy of. Due to Victor's fear of getting exposed, he shows Edgar (kid in the left picture above) how he did bring the dead creature back to life. However, this action made Edgar to tell the other kids in the school the truth behind Sparky's revival. This resulted some of terrifying creatures to be made at the climax of the movie such as combination of dead bat and live cat (The picture in the right above). This implies that Sparky could also go wrong as even more abominable creation that can jeopardizes the other people. Although Sparky did not have the horrific appearance as the flying-devilish creature, he was treated as Sparky was monster which he did not wanted to be.
If you guys did not watch it, I highly recommend you watch this film. It can be a bit childish if you are already 15+. But, it is still a great film that shows the tacit correlation between the real novel and the movie.
Bye!
I like the way you analyzed the movie while still keeping the original story in mind, the contrast in both stories is quite extreme but you managed to link them together nicely. I like how you pointed out key points from the movie which portray important elements that can help you visualize the true message behind the movie. I would have liked a more personal opinon on both the movie and the novel but otherwise, well done! :)
